HEC has properties such as thickening, suspension, and lubrication. When used in drilling mud, it can cool iron and drilling debris, bring harmful substances to the surface, and improve the rock carrying capacity of the mud.
Fracturing fluid
HEC can increase viscosity, and it has no impact on the oil layer and will not block cracks, making it suitable for fracturing oil wells. It also has the general characteristics of water-based fracturing fluids, such as strong suspended sediment capacity and low friction.
