Description
Xanthan gum has been used in drilling fluid, completion fluid, profile control and water plugging, and tertiary oil recovery in oilfield development because of its good viscosity increasing and rheological properties. Xanthan gum, as an efficient and environment-friendly oil drilling mud additive, has a range of application and resistance to temperature, PH and salt, which can significantly improve the permeability of mud and the ability of suspended solids, reduce the pressure loss during drilling, stabilize the well wall, reduce the damage to the reservoir, and significantly improve the efficiency of drilling, workover and completion.
Dispersible Xanthan Gum can quickly disperse in the mud, fully swelling with water to increase the hydration rate and increase the application efficiency of the Xanthan gum. The fast dispersion avoids the formation of micelles, saves dissolution time, and improves production efficiency.
