Hydroxyethyl cellulose(HEC)

HEC can prevent soil particles from blocking the pores of the oil layer when approaching the oil layer. Its property of reducing water loss can prevents a large amount of water from entering the oil layer from the mud, in order to ensure the production capacity of the oil layer. HEC reduces the frictional resistance of the mud, thereby reducing pump pressure and reducing power consumption. Its excellent salt solubility also ensures that no precipitation occurs during acidizing treatment of oil wells. In completion and cementing operations, the viscosity of HEC is used to transfer sand and gravel.
